My name is Tamara Slack and as far back as I can remember, I have been in love with the written word. I once asked my husband what words he would use to describe me. He answered, "seeker of truth." I do enjoy seeking truth, but sharing those truths with others is just as important to me.

Daughter and Heir Blog
My blog began because of the mercury and arsenic poisoning I have. I neary died at the end of 2010, so I wanted to write about what God did for me to keep me alive and how my life is now. Because of the research I had to do and the doctors, toxicologists, and nutritionists I had to speak with, there's much I learned which I write about on the blog.
The blog is titled "Daughter and Heir" because God's Word says once I was born again (John 3.3), I was adopted into God's family (John 1.12, Ephesians 1.5), thus becoming an heir of God (Galatians 4.7). So, I am a Daughter and an Heir. Praise be to God!
